Combining all the elements of Southern trap we hold dearest with a refreshing new kick, Birmingham’s up and coming Big Yavo is one to watch. Coming up alongside the likes of notable Alabama talent, Yavo has managed to craft his own unique sound that sets him apart from the rest and certainly packs a punch.  After a CinematicTV premiere with his video for “No Pen”, which has garnered over 8 million views, Yavo dropped multiple bodies of work in 2020 including Dumbass, On God, and a joint project titled Gorilla Warfare with Luh Soldier. In 2021, Yavo saw success from his first viral record, "Rich" which he followed up with his project On God II in June and Like Yay in November. Both of these projects took him to new levels as he landed his first Billboard chart placements and support from his peers Da Baby, Stunna 4 Vegas, Quavo, and more. Continuing his climb in 2022, Yavo found viral success again with "Him", a standout record from Like Yay. The song has given rise to a notable cultural trend that has spread across Tik Tok and Instagram alike, with countless influencers and peers joining in on the trend.
